OMG! There’s paint overspray on all of my solar panels. What do I do?

Don’t freak out! We’ve got the knowledge, experience, and tools you need.

First of all, don’t overreact! No need to hyperventilate, threaten your poor house painter who is probably just as upset that his workers screwed up by not covering your solar panels, or turn off your solar system. In fact, just take a deep breath. It’s going to be okay.

Second, call Streakless Solar Panel Cleaning ASAP! The longer you let the paint sit on the panels’ surface the harder it will be to remove. And panels covered in paint don’t seem to produce much electricity apparently.  However, as you can see from the following picture, Streakless Solar Panel Cleaning knows what it takes to safely and quickly remove paint overspray on solar panels. With our more than 2 decades of experience and all the right tools, you’ll sleep better knowing your panels will soon be back to optimal operating condition.

Third, fight the urge to go online and read all of the horror stories about other people who’ve had their solar panels oversprayed with paint as well, only to have someone who didn’t know what they were doing ruin their panels. Yes, you can ruin solar panels if you use a pressure washer or chemicals. And both processes invalidate most warranties anyways. But, don’t worry. You’re dealing with professionals here. We’ve got you.

Real-life Experience:

On Sunday Aug 25, 2024, we received a text message from a local painter whose employees oversprayed a client’s solar panels. He wanted to make it right and reached out to Streakless Solar Panel Cleaning. The next morning we got the client’s name, phone number and address. With the homeowner’s permission we went out to look at the panels, take pictures, and work up an estimate. This was all completed the same day, Monday Aug 26. Two days later, the painter sent back the signed contract and made the payment via Zelle. We were able to get out and complete the work just two days later, on Friday Aug 30. Pictures of the job were taken and shown to the homeowner as well as sent to the painter. He was extremely grateful, stating, “I’m so excited to have that done. So quickly without any issues.” The homeowner was ecstatic!
